The study of writing, is crucial to the professional growth and development of anyone. The act of writing is crucial to the world of social sciences and diplomacy.

“There is no such thing as writing in general.” Elizabeth Wardell writes. In my field of study, Political Science this statement is very true and illuminating. The art of writing is a skill that helps it’s practitioner form though as well as create concepts that can be bestowed to the next human being who may interpret the writing with good or bad connotations which leads to growth for through the exchange of ideas progress is made.

Through verbal articulation, many lives have been saved throughout the ages. Writing extends outside the realms of literature. Through writing techniques such as compositional risk, ethos, pathos, logos and SEO, a writer or when reciting text, a speaker can contend or negate as well as draw attention to whatever they want the reader to understand.

Through writing, the author, can captivate the minds of many leading them too either agree or disagree although both results are good results for through reading and recitation the audience is inclined to give thought to the subject matter of the literature.

In conclusion I feel writing and its techniques are useful knowledge because through communication we can perhaps change the world for better someday, that is what I hope to do with my education and it is the duty to everyone of us on Earth but especially those of us on a scholastic mission. Through the articulation of thoughts we can help others think.

Through writing ideas are formed, laws are created and ordinances are maintained that are crucial to any well formed democratic society.
