As far as tools go I think AI is a tool but has the potential to be a crutch for students and writers. I do enjoy spellcheck and other things like Grammarly, but people can become reliant and it takes away the skill that can be gained. Professors should find a sweet spot with AI because professors themselves use AI. I like that on social media it’s possible to tell where someone is from or their generation. I think it’s all about tone or how it’s presented. Writing tools are necessary especially since I believe society is moving towards a more technological type of future. I think tools can be useful, as long as it doesn’t become a crutch preventing people from knowing how to write. Multitasking in writing makes both writing pieces bad. I think it’s more about how information is presented and the structure of it. I wonder if it would be easier to have articles structured in the same way still making it difficult to multitask. The writings wouldn’t have to be about the same thing but have the same design to it. Multitasking in writing can cause overlap I believe I think the constant changes in tone or diction would kind of make the writing feel inconsistent or incomplete. I think that maybe a reader analyzing a paper of a person who multitasked can create a sense of split attention. I think tools can help create more effective papers of people who multitask while their writing.
