Today for this blog post, what I’m going to be talking about is how I feel about this article about MLA format. In the article by Michael J Klein and Christian Shackleford they mention style, and margins basically things that make a piece of writing in MLA format. My opinion on it is that I feel like at least from my perspective Emily’s format isn’t really all that important. However, this is coming from someone who isn’t a writer. The reason why I think it’s not important is that I feel like writing is the most important part of it any type of writing. I get the idea because of their presentation. But I also believe that there isn’t much that needs to be done in terms of the visuals, again because the main idea of the content is the writing, yes it’ll look nicer depending on how you write things but I don’t think its something you really need to do for your essay, article, whatever your making. It’s not a big deal and it’s fine that it’s a thing I just personally don’t think is necessary. Once again I want to clarify that I don’t really mind the existence of it but because of my perspective on it I don’t see the need for it all that much but I do understand why it is a thing. Another reason why I feel like this is that I think some things should be straight to the point if they can. So that’s my opinion of this article.
