In the article “What Experienced Collaborators Say About Collaborative Writing”, an example of collaborative writing is addressed in the article where one person has an assignment in a group and each person is required to participate in this assignment until cant move on to the next stage until everyone has gone. In my own personal experience, there has been many times where i was in a group with five to six other people and there was always that one person who never participated or gave their input about anything. Anytime we addressed that person, they always seemed to agree with what everyone else was saying, but always looked confused and never knew what was being worked on. Sometimes it can be hard for people to engages in conversations in group work or really is having trouble understanding the material., but that’s why your group is there, to help with ideas and for everyone to collaborate with each other on the material.
Failure is Awesome
In the article “Failure is Awesome” Alexus Yeakel goes on to talk about how failure can be beneficial and emphasizing that there is nothing wrong to fail at something, in fact, is a great lesson to learn and grow off of. Reading Yeakel’s article is extremely comforting and relatable as society makes it known to everyone that failure means that you aren’t good at that specific thing. However, failing is okay according to Yeakel and pushes you to keep trying and to never give up. There has been many times where i have failed just like everyone else, and sometimes i can be too hard on myself and can be demotivating to want to keep trying, but anything can be accomplished as long as theres dedication and time put into it. Failing is what makes people grow and learn, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with failing. As Yeakel states “Failure is Awesome”.
